Returning for its third edition - having skipped a year due to the economic 'hospital pass' the whole industry was given in 2009 (so, no, you weren't left out last year) - the Arabian Gulf Yachting Awards is again returning to highlight the success and achievements of UAE marine businesses. While all markets have suffered under the strain of the economic downturn, being a leisure industry, anyone who can keep their business open, let alone selling and creating new initiatives, deserves an award. However, we don't have that long in the evening, so mark the date and dust off your penguin suit.

 

As innovative as the industry it rewards, the Awards this year look more at the people and companies who have striven for success over the past year. And, so as to share in the glory and keep brokers on best behaviour, this year the event is also open to 100 significant local yacht owners, as presented by marinas and dealers.
